Southside Park Clean-Up, Jan 11th, Feb 8th, March 8th, and every second Saturday in 2025

  Saturday January 11, 9-11 am Please join us for the first park cleanup of the New Year! SPNA is partnering with the City of Sacramento to provide grabbers and other tools; just bring your gloves and meet us by the playground. Coffee and donuts will be provided. We can’t wait to see you there!

Fishing Pond at the International Sportsman's Expo at Cal Expo Jan 14th, 17th, 18th, and 19th

Golden Empire Council has been asked to run the fishing pond at the International Sportsman's Expo Youth Fair this year.   Help with set-up is needed Tuesday beginning at 1pm. Scouts who have completed the Fishing Merit Badge are needed to work on show days: Friday January 17th from 3:00pm to 8:00pm Saturday January 18th from 10:00 am to 7:00pm  Sunday January 19th from 10:00 am to 4:00pm To volunteer, reach out to Vickie Bagley at gecfishing@gmail.com . Admission to the Expo is free for those wearing a Scouting Uniform.
